Abstract
In the absence of templates of formulating clinical diagnoses of HF after discharge from the hospital in the Russian Ministry of Health’s clinical guidelines for ST-elevation myocardial infarction (MI), non-ST-elevation acute coronary syndrome, and heart failure (CHF), this article proposes various options for formulating a HF diagnosis during this period. The guidelines are based on the new 2024 classification of HF by the Russian Society of Cardiology, which distinguishes between pre-HF and newly diagnosed HF, the diagnosis of which should be established starting 29 days after the index MI.
