Определение связи плазменного содержания галектина-3 с показателями эндогенного воспаления, окислительно-нитрозилирующего стресса (ОНС) у больных с хронической сердечной недостаточностью (ХСН) в периоде декомпенсации.</p></sec><sec><title> </title><p> </p></sec><sec><title>Материал и методы</title><p>Материал и методы. Обследовано 197 пациентов с ХСН, перенесших инфаркт миокарда (ИМ), которые были разделены на 3 группы: 1 группа – 56 человек с ХСН IIА стадии II функционального класса (ФК), 2 группа – 72 больных с ХСН IIА ст. III ФК, 3 группа – 69 пациентов с ХСН IIБ ст. IV ФК. Контрольную группу (КГ) составили 39 практически здоровых лиц. В плазме крови определяли содержание галектина-3, 3-нитротирозина, окисляемость ЛПНП, активность EC-SOD, интерлейкин-6, вч-СРБ.</p></sec><sec><title> </title><p> </p></sec><sec><title>Результаты</title><p>Результаты. Концентрация галектина-3 в плазме больных 1, 2 и 3 групп была достоверно выше значений лиц КГ, соответственно, на 39% (р&lt;0,05), 164% (р&lt;0,001) и 428% (р&lt;0,001). Интенсивность окислительно-нитрозилирующего стресса прогрессивно возрастала в группах больных ХСН: содержание 3-нитротирозина относительно КГ увеличилось в 1 группе на 24% (p&lt;0,05), во 2 – на 81% (p&lt;0,01) и в 3 – на 152% (p&lt;0,001). Отмечены сильные положительные корреляционные связи в парах: галектин-3–3-нитротирозин, галектин-3-окЛПНП у больных всех групп. Интенсивность эндогенного воспаления увеличивалась в группах соответственно тяжести ХСН. Установлены сильные прямые корреляционные связи между галектином-3 и СРБ, а также галектином-3 и интерлейкином-6.</p></sec><sec><title>Заключение</title><p>Заключение. Галектин-3 коррелирует с тяжестью ХСН и тесно сопряжён с ключевыми показателями ОНС и эндогенного воспаления, будучи как маркером, так и медиатором этих патогенных процессов.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><sec><title>Aim</title><p>Aim. To investigate the association between plasma levels of galectin-3 and parameters of endogenous inflammation and nitrosylation oxidative stress (NOS) in patients with decompensated chronic heart failure (CHF).</p></sec><sec><title> </title><p> </p></sec><sec><title>Material and methods</title><p>Material and methods. In total, 197 CHF patients with myocardial infarction in medical history were divided into 3 groups: Group 1 (n=56) with Functional Class (FC) II CHF IIA; Group 2 (n=72) with FC III CHF IIA; and Group 3 (n=69) with FC IV CHF IIB. The control group (CG) included 39 healthy individuals. Plasma levels of galectin-3, 3-nitrotyrosine, low-density lipoprotein (LDL) oxidation, EC-SOD activity, interleukin-6, and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hsCRP) were measured.</p></sec><sec><title> </title><p> </p></sec><sec><title>Results</title><p>Results. In Groups 1, 2, and 3, plasma levels of galectin-3 were significantly higher than in CG: by 39% (p&lt;0,05), 164% (p&lt;0,001), and 428% (p&lt;0,001), respectively.</p></sec><sec><title> </title><p> </p><p>The activity of NOS increased in parallel with CHF FC: by 24% (p&lt;0,05) in Group 1, by 81% (p&lt;0,01) in Group 2, and by 152% (p&lt;0,001) in Group 3. There was a strong positive correlation between galectin-3 and 3-nitrotyrosin and between galectin-3 and LDL oxidation across all three groups. The activity of endogenous inflammation also increased in parallel with CHF FC. A strong positive correlation between galectin-3 and hsCRP, as well as between galectin-3 and interleukin-6, was also observed.</p></sec><sec><title> </title><p> </p></sec><sec><title>Conclusion</title><p>Conclusion. Galectin-3 levels correlate with CHF severity and are associated with the key parameters of NOS and endogenous inflammationn.
